when one has this much time on his or her hands, one must have a "to-do list". As for me, para naman hindi matolerate ang pagiging baboy ko for the 10- day period na alang class (bcoz of this unmerciful virus A(h1n1, here's the list of things to do na sana magawa ko nga.

roller- coaster ride!

today was such a roller coaster... so many highs and so many lows...

rants
1. Guys can be such ignorant, conceited, and dense a**holes. Enough said.

2. I hate city traffic! Coming home, I was stuck in almost-an-hour traffic today and words cannot express the frustration i feel.

3. Tama ba na ang first quiz is 10 over 100? toinkz! MAS, i think is going to be the harshest of all the subjects for this semester.

raves
1. The calamari i ate this afternoon were delicious! =D

2. I love Michael Jakson's smooth criminal... I didn't know his is the original version diay. Grabe, great video, great song, powerful dance moves = unbeatable record.

3. Just got the result of my first Paayas exam*. Weeh.... 6/10. Not bad. I guess I'm starting to fall in- love with Law nah. hehehe

Conclusion: I don't know what to make out of my day. I don't know whether to be happy or sad about it. I don't even want to think about it anymore. My brain hurts.

* Paayas exam- (noun) a terror 7:15 to 8:30 pm ( 1 hour and 15 minutes) Law exam wherein there are only 10 item multiple choice questions pero grabe ka nosebleed.

Tiny Bubbles!!!

(from left to right: Shira, Jarica, Aura)

Benefits of Friendship

You can have general meetings about each other's clumsiness and bloopers.

You can share secrets that for unknown reasons you can't keep on your own.

You'll have easy, ready, accessible loan service. (Very true!!!) hehehe.

Your phone has more chances of ringing.

You don't have to pretend you're a cow coz they know you're a "PIG".

You can cry mouth open and tongue out with them. =P

You can render 'PATXT' service.

You can share meal for the price of 1.

If u fall, they'll laugh, but will lend u a hand & laugh at u again. ;D

That's FRIENDSHIP!

Friends with Benefits.... hehehe...

Miss you tiny bubbles. :)

ps. (twinnai, thank you for this wonderful text message. Sayang ala ka kauban ani. miz yah!)

fast forward: (7 hours after those pictures were taken)

Taking Sir Paayas' 1st Law on Negotiable Instruments quiz. Wow! It's only a 10- item multiple choice quiz but believe me it's not as easy as it appears to be. Goodness, the choices were even more difficult than the question itself. Whew! My heart aches thinking about it. tsk..tsk...

the kindEst cReatuRe in the UniveRse (" ,)

Who is she?

Her name is Irish....

Born June 13, 1980...

She is someone who gives more than what she takes.

She takes care of the most precious people in her and other people's lives.

Yes! She earns a living out of caring and loving people she's not even related.

She is typecasted as a Nanny for she works as a caregiver, chimay, yaya, whatever others call it.

but so what? it's a decent job.

She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Management Accounting, but she chose not to pursue a career related to her course.

Instead, she chose to go out of her comfort zone.

Because she is a determined person. She knew what she wanted. And she knew it was somewhere in a place not called Philippines, but Canada.

She loves to travel, to take pictures and to be in the pictures.

So let me share with you some of the many captured moments of this BEAUTIFUL SOUL...

Happy Birthday Ate!!!

Happy Birthday to me! and my twin! :)

middle picture- Im still 2 years old in this photo.

wow! see the changes.. ang laki na ng mukha ko..it means malaki na talaga ako. yehey! hehehe.

I'm 19!

weeeeeh... Time really flies so fast. I still don't feel like I'm 19. Imagine, it's my last year as a teenager na pala but feeling ko wala pa ring major changes na nagaganap sa life ko. Feeling ko, hindi ko pa nagagawa ang mga things that a normal teenager like me should have been doing. Kagaya nalang ng mga sumusunod:

1. Going to the beach with friends ONLY. Never in my entire life I've been to a beach na friends lang ang kasama. Siguro if there was a time, meron namang condition like "bawal maligo kasi baka malunod". Pa'no nga naman eh hindi kasi ako marunong lumangoy. Kaya nga dapat one of my goals is to at least learn the basics of swimming before I turn twenty. Diba? It's a S-M-A-R-T objective for this year...

2. Being able to go to other places kahit neighboring towns or cities man lang. It has always been my dream to travel, and to learn different cultures from different places kaya lang it has always been my parents' rule too na bawal pumunta sa malalayong lugar lalo na kapag walang kasamang adults. Am I not an adult? Kailan ba talaga dapat allowed ang isang tao pumunta sa malalayong lugar? hmmmmm....

3. Coming home late. Remember those famous scenes from teen movies wherein the teenage girl cast has to sneak in in their own house just so her parents will not find out that she came home late. Or those scenes wherein the girl has to create a dummy of herself on her bed so that her parents will think that she's already asleep when actually she's not because she's gone into some places elsewhere. You know those exciting scenes na parang ang sarap talagang gayahin. I'm not saying that those are good things to do, because ideally hindi naman talaga dapat tuluran ang paglabas ng bahay ng walang paalam. My point lang naman here is that it also feels good to break some rules once in a while right? Para naman hindi maging masyadong routinized ang life at para less boring and more colorful. Ano ba naman ang paminsang- minsang sermon? hehehe...

and the list goes on...

Wow, what a deprived life I am in. I'm not complaining though. When I said "deprived", hindi naman talaga ibig sabihin no'n na I'm not happy. In fact I feel so blessed being in the kind of life I am constructing right now. Siguro, what i was really trying to mean by saying those things I've said above is that siguro kakaiba ang life ko sa life na talagang dapat pinagdadaanan ng isang normal na teenager. And at this very moment I'm just wondering kung ano kaya pagsinubukan kung gayahin 'yong mga napapanood ko sa mga teen movies? Ano kaya kung bigla akong umalis ng bahay late night ng walang paalam? Will I enjoy doing those kinds of stuff? Or will I just end up being one pathetic- trying- hard- teenager? hmmm.... (*thinking)

I'm 19! Which means that my twin is already 20! Nyahaha!

Yes, it sounds weird. How come that one's twin sister is a year older than the other? Well the answer is that my twin is not really my biological twin sister. We're not even related by blood. But I would say that she is my "SOUL SISTER". =)

Happy Birthday Twin! Thank you for always reminding me that "in everything I do, I don't have to do it alone."You are indeed one of the reasons why i still believe that I'm so blessed in this life. Thank you twin, happy happy birthday to us....

More birthdays to come for you and me..... and also to Hanz and cousin Lelai... hehe

What a day!

Thank you Lord for reserving us through the years. :)

Thank you Mama and Papa for bringing me into this world.

Thank you my loving siblings.

Thank you pamangkings.

thank you sa tanan nag- greet and wala nag-greet...hehehe...

Chow! (Ciao) :)

I fell in- love with Salay :)

I love Salay! It's so hard to put into words how much I love this place. The serenity. The beautiful spots. The people. The way the people talk. The food. the greenness of the place. Everythinggggg!!! It's just so perfect. :D

Salay is the place where my Papa grew up. It's also the place where most of the Dahans learned the values preserved by our great great grand parents. It's where the entire family meet up after years of not seeing each other. In other words, it's the remarkable setting where we reunite. hehehe... But apart from being a sentimental place for our family, Salay itself is just unbelievably the most virgin place I've went to.

I cannot even begin to describe the place coherently. So let me just share with you now the highlights of my vacation! :)

Just a few walks from our ancestral house, here's a spectacular view of the beach! I've always been vocal on how much i love water. Kahit hindi ako marunong lumangoy, sobrang mahal ko talaga ang dagat. Kaya naman, everytime we go to Salay, hindi talaga pwedeng hindi ko mapuntahan ang beach. Ang buhangin dito'y hindi man kasing gorgeous ng boracay( which I haven't seen personally) , but the beach is divine. Sobrang ganda talaga and peaceful. Perfect for those who want to unwind. :) Plus! not to mention the amazing blue skies. :D

Being in Salay makes it kind of hard to believe that hanggang ngayon buhay na buhay pa rin ang mga "payag- payag". This charming cozy little kiosk was built by the kind citizens of Salay. It's really cute. Kung masubukan n'yong makapunta ng Salay, try sitting right in this exact place and you will feel like you're a real dalagang Filipina or real binatang Filipino. hehehe.

Sorry! Can't help but post this picture. :P In Salay, one can unceasingly see these flowers. I don't know how they are called but really ang dami nila sa Salay, lalo na sa cemetery. By the way, I decided to post this picture just to share na everytime we come to Salay, we always go to the cemetery to pay visit to our Grandparents, Granduncles, Grandaunts, 1st,2nd, and 3rd degree cousins...hehehe....ang laking pamilya! :D

Learn how Salay preserves its clean and green environment. Look at the street, wala talaga ni isang pirasong basura. Here in Salay kasi, people are responsible enough to clean their own mess and maintain the tidiness of their respective areas without being told or being commanded by the higher authority (wow! authority jud). hehehe... If streets are as clean as this, ang sarap sigurong maglakad nalang always noh? :D

so there you have it for now...

more pictures to come in my next posts...

Happy Vacation! :)

I feel so holy today. hehehe. So let me share something i learned about the Divine Creator.

I learned that
God didn't live to teach us how to want more... His life was about the challenge of letting go. They say, let go of something first, go down first, and you'll earn the kind of faith that'll allow you new beginnings
and the freedom to grow.

So brief, yet so true. (" ,)
